Rafiki Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Rafiki Labs LLC ("Rafiki," "we") collects through the Rafiki app and rafikiwild.com, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your phone number (to sign you in) and email, if you give it (for alerts).
- Your name and ranch name, if you add them.
- Herd info, sales you record, watches, and Exchange listings you create.
- Basic usage and device info, like pages viewed, app version, and error logs.
How we use it
To run Rafiki: sign you in, show prices and herd values, send alerts you ask for, show your listings, keep the service secure, and improve it. Sale prices you share may be used, without your name, in our price estimates.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run Rafiki, such as hosting, email, and text-message providers, only to do that work.
- Other users, but only what you put in a listing or choose to show.
- Law enforcement or others when the law requires it, or to protect people or Rafiki.
- A buyer of Rafiki, if the business is ever sold.
We don't sell your personal information.
Public auction results
Our prices come partly from public auction results. Those public records may include information about sellers, such as a name or ranch, that was already made public by the auction.
How long we keep it
We keep your info while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal info within about 30 days, except what we need to keep for legal reasons or that's already in backups for a short time. Anonymous sale prices may stay in our estimates.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account anytime in the app, or email us.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your info, but no system is perfectly secure.
Kids
Rafiki is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect info from children.
Changes
We'll post any updates here with a new date.
